The Social Lab (Ep #2) - Don’t just set and forget.

In Episode #2 of ‘The Social Lab’; Emily Osmond from the Modern Marketing Collective take us through why social media marketing should never be ‘set and forget’.

Emily is a marketing educator who, through her online program and podcast ‘The Emily Osmond Show’, helps female-led businesses market authentically online.

“It's important to not just set and forget your socials, but to really be monitoring and testing and learning about what creative is getting really good engagement and then doubling down on that. It's very important to be agile when you're running a campaign” explains Emily.

“It can be difficult if a brand doesn’t start out with some specific goals to get really good engagement. Sometimes these can be just about building awareness. Maybe it's a specific amount of visitors to your website or registering for your event?

Having specific goals help you stay on track, but it's also important to be open and flexible because often in the marketing space; the ads or the copy or the campaigns that we think might go really well do not engage with the audience as well as we hope and planned.”
